Executive Media Training

Executive media training prepares your leaders for the interviews that carry risk: earnings calls, press announcements, crisis statements, and the podcast that gets clipped and shared. This course is built by a producer who has directed executives and founders for television and knows what separates the interview that builds credibility from the one that damages it.

Every executive media training engagement starts with a CMarie Call, then a CMarie Map, where we learn what your leaders are preparing for before recommending anything.

The CMarie Map is a standalone engagement. You leave with a clear picture of your story, your positioning, and what needs to be produced. Some clients take that and execute on their own. Others continue working with us to produce it. Either way, the Map is where the work starts.

Built for executives who speak for the company

This course is built for CEOs, C-suite leaders, division heads, and spokespeople who face reporters, podcast hosts, or cameras and need to know what to say, how to say it, and what to leave unsaid.

The training starts with message. When executives struggle on camera, the issue is usually structure. They answer the question they were asked instead of answering it and then bridging to the thing they actually need to say. A CMarie engagement fixes that.

What your leaders will practice

Every engagement starts with message. Here is what your leaders will work on, shaped around your organization's specific situations and formats.

Your leaders will work on:

Headlining, leading with the point before giving context
Format prep: the TV hit, the earnings call, the podcast, the remote press call
Delivery: pace, pauses, stillness, and how executive presence on video differs from in person
Answering the three or four questions most likely to put them off message
Speaking for the company without creating liability
Decoding "you lack executive presence" into specific behaviors that can actually be practiced

Team licenses

A team license gives your communications or PR lead a facilitator guide so they can run sessions in-house with your executives, a mock-interview question bank, a company scenario worksheet your team fills in with their own situations, and a certificate of completion for each participant.

Team licenses are available for groups of five, ten, and twenty-five. For larger groups or custom programs, the right starting point is a CMarie Call.

Ready to go deeper?

The CMarie Call is where we start: a free 15-minute conversation to see if we are the right fit. If we are, the first paid engagement is the CMarie Map, a deep dive into your story, your positioning, and the gap between where your authority lives and where it needs to show up. Everything that follows is built from that foundation.
